Kuala Lumpur, 8 September 2014 – Eversendai Corporation Berhad (“Eversendai”) a provider of specialist engineering and construction services’ subsidiary, Eversendai Oil & Gas (M) Sdn Bhd, a local Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) company has secured its maiden oil & gas contract for two separate packages valued at RM72.2 million.
The mechanical and steel structure packages contract for Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd.’s Terengganu Gas Terminal (TGAST) Project – Phase 2, was awarded to Eversendai from Samsung Engineering (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. Eversendai’s scope of work for the project includes supply and installation of steel structures as well as the fabrication and erection of piping and mechanical equipment. The mechanical package is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2014 and to be completed by April 2016.

It will also strengthen and facilitate Eversendai’s inroad into the local petrochemical plant construction sector, especially with the rising opportunities in the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) project in Pengerang, Johor.
