Kuala Lumpur, February 17, 2020 – Eversendai Corporation Berhad, announced today that it has secured RM330 million worth of projects by its subsidiary in India. With the new wins, Eversendai brings its total contract wins to RM653 million to-date for the year 2020 bringing up its order book to approximately RM2.2 billion.

With a healthy order book in 2020, the Group was recently awarded the DLF Downtown IT Park project in Tharamani, Chennai by DLF Info Park Developers (Chennai) Ltd. Securing this prestigious contract is a major achievement for Eversendai and would further accelerate its growth momentum. This would also improve the chance to secure additional phases of future development in the same project site.

The DLF Downtown IT Park project consists of two towers of commercial building constructed using composite structures in fast track mode and is expected to complete in a record time of 16 months. This will set a new benchmark in the Indian construction industry. For the record, this is the second job awarded by DLF to Eversendai. The first 1.6 million sq.ft. commercial building project in Chennai is in the final stage of successful completion.
