Eversendai Surpass Past Record With RM1.8 Billion

KUALA LUMPUR, October 24, 2016 – Eversendai Corporation Berhad, an internationally renowned and established multi-disciplinary contractor with strong presence in the Middle East, India and South East Asia reported its latest secured contracts for this year worth RM1.8 billion till today. Our current order book and tender book now stands at RM2.5 billion and RM20.8 billion respectively.

Eversendai’s evolution from structural steel erection specialist to one of the leading integrated structural turnkey and plant contractors in the world has now taken another leap. The Group is pleased to announce that its latest total secured projects in the Middle East, India and South East Asia have been progressing as scheduled surpassing its past record; therefore it has simultaneously strategically positioned Eversendai to perform well in 2016 and moving forward. Amongst the new projects secured in September 2016 are The Royal Atlantis in Dubai; Al Wakrah Bypass – ITS Gantries in Qatar; Rupa Renaissance, Mumbai and Ameerpet & MGBS Stations, Hyderabad in India; Sinohydro-Jimah Project: Steam Turbine & Center Control building in Malaysia and New State Courts in Singapore.

Tan Sri A K Nathan, Executive Chairman and Group Managing Director of Eversendai said, “After a lapse of 10 years, Eversendai has re-entered the Singapore market by winning the New State Courts Project in Singapore. There are a few other projects in the pipeline which we are seriously working towards concluding.
