QAQC Welding Engineer

(Based in Eversendai offshore Factory)

Responsibilities:

• PQR / WPS Certification and Welder Certification, liaising with Clients for welding related issues. 
• Keeps complete List of welder qualification. Sends to Production every week.
• Custodian of WPS/PQR, Welder Certificates and in charge of updating.
• Liaises with clients for welding related queries and approvals during all stages.
• Prepare and review of Weld map as per PQR and WPS.
• Conduct and prepare WPS/PQR, welder certificates
• Issuing Welders ID.
• Managing day to day welder Test, sending for test and qualification.
• Calculates electrodes required by production at various stages in project. And makes MR and follows up with Procurement.
• Analyze and estimate required PQR/WPS for new projects and Bids
• Analyze and guide for project weld repair status, weld repairs, welder performance
• Conduct training for welders
• Maintain project repair KPI by monitoring and guiding production welding team
• Support/ Guide to production and projects team for all welding related activities
• Calculates welders required for the Project.
• Ensures all welding happening on yard is as per WPS and Procedures.
• Checks welding audit performed by QC Inspectors and advises.
• Liaise and support project QC team for all welding relevant activities 
• Attend safety tool box talks and Safety walks and suggest improvement.

Qualification, Skills & Experience:

• Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent,
• IWE or IWT (Mandatory)
• CWIP 3.1/AWS SCWI(Optional)
• Minimum 10Years in the field oil & Gas construction activities for onshore, offshore, Rigs/ship building
• Excellent communications skills (written and oral) in the English language, Hindi, Malayalam or Tamil.

Quantity Surveyor

(Based in Qatar Projects)

JOB SUMMARY (Major functions of the position):

• Quantity measurement, material taking off, Classification, estimation- accuracy, Quality and timeliness.
• Periodical Earned value reports preparing, monitoring and coordination with project stack holders to meet the management objectives and project requirements
• Study of the project based on the preliminary program from client
• Project billing, invoicing and certification of claims- accuracy, quality and timeliness Monitoring project deliverables (i.e. specific obligation, liabilties and maintaining commercial records)
• Arriving milestone dates in line with the client input schedule.
• Coordination with PM for raw material procurement status.
• Coordinating with Design for timely submission of shop drawing & Approvals.
• Preparing, maintaining and issuing reports on project deliverables
• Create progress measurement procedures of the project including determination of
  weight factors
• Identifying, enumerating and formalizing additional works / variations / day works /other claim events (EOT, disruption etc.).
• Administration of Subcontract Works from inception until completion / close-out.
• Drafting contractual and commercial correspondences-identification, timeliness and quality
• Updating milestone status with forecast completion dates
• Recording the delays due to various reasons at site and notifying the same to client through Letters
• Maintaining Letter Issue log.
• Provide assistance to Department’s Manager in the operations and develop periodic updates and comparison of current status with baselines.

• Project cost analysis, budget analysis and reporting.

Qualification:

Desired Professional / Exposure or Experience:

3+ years of related experience and competency in computer software such as MS office, MS project, AutoCAD, SAP.

• Understanding of the fundamental terms in a relevant standard SMM (e.g CESMM 3 / POMI 1979), FIDIC, NRM2.

3. Conceptual skills & Expertise in the Design of complex connections is mandatory requirement.
4. Working Experience in IdeaStatica, Robot, E-Tabs, Strand7, MIDAS, Staad & SAP is mandatory requirement.
